Shopify App Store Add to Shopify

Terms of Service

Effective date: August 12, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Bannery application ("Bannery", "the App"), made available through the Shopify App Store. By installing or using Bannery, you agree to these Terms on behalf of the store that installs it.

1. The Service

Bannery lets merchants choose from a library of ready-made banner templates, customize the text, colors and schedule, and publish the result to their Shopify storefront. Bannery is provided "as is" and we may add, change or remove templates and features over time.

2. Eligibility

Bannery is available to merchants with an active Shopify store. You must have the authority to install apps on that store and to accept these Terms on its behalf.

3. Your Account and Content

  • You are responsible for the content you put into a banner (text, images, links, offers) and for making sure it complies with applicable law and Shopify's own policies.
  • You keep ownership of the content you create with Bannery. We only store it so the app can display and let you edit your banners.
  • You are responsible for keeping your Shopify account secure, since access to your store controls access to the app.

4. Billing

Any paid plan is billed through Shopify's Billing API and appears on your regular Shopify invoice. Prices and plan limits (e.g. number of active banners) are shown in the app before you approve a charge. You can cancel a paid plan at any time from the app or from your Shopify admin; charges already billed for the current period are not refunded except where required by law.

5. License to Use the App

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Bannery on your Shopify store while these Terms are in effect. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, resell or sublicense the app itself.

6. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep Bannery available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update, suspend or discontinue parts of the app, and will do our best to give notice of changes that materially affect how it works.

7. Third-Party Services

Bannery runs inside Shopify and depends on Shopify's platform and APIs. We are not responsible for outages or changes on Shopify's side that affect the app.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bannery is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including lost sales or lost data.

9. Termination

You may stop using Bannery at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated or if required by Shopify's policies.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Bannery's operating jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. [Placeholder — to be confirmed before this policy is published live.]

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use Bannery after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
